Date | Phoenix dactylifera

An exceptional ingredient prized for the diversity and richness of its composition, the date offers remarkable benefits for the skin. Naturally adapted to extreme desert conditions, every part of the date fruit contributes unique bioactive properties that support skin vitality, resilience and radiance.

Date sap

Date sap is particularly rich in polyphenols and carotenoids, providing powerful antioxidant support by helping neutralise free radicals and limit lipid peroxidation. It also contains trace elements such as copper, zinc and selenium, known to help support skin repair, regeneration and comfort. Amino acids contribute to hydration, while vitamin B3 helps promote a brighter, more even-looking complexion. Polysaccharides further enhance skin tone and energy, leaving the skin feeling revitalized. Date sap is a key active ingredients in several of our treatments:

Date seed powder

Traditionally used for centuries as a desert "coffee", date seed powder is valued for its energizing properties. Rich in polyphenols, minerals and amino acids, it offers antioxidant, firming and skin-conditioning benefits, helping support skin renewal and vitality. You will find it in our gentle exfoliator "Pépite de la Palmeraie", as one of its exfoliating powders

Virgin date seed oil

Virgin date seed oil is a rare and precious oil, obtained from date pits through a slow, drop-by-drop extraction process that preserves its exceptional purity. Approximately 35kg of date seeds are required to produce just one litre of oil. Naturally rich in polyphenols, sterols, vitamin E and carotenoids, this fine oil helps support skin hydration, firmness and tone, while providing antioxidant protection and helping shield the skin from environmental stressors, including UV exposure. It is a key active ingredient in our invigorating eye contour treatment "Fraîcheur de l'Aube".
